MASH opening party
Aldo Zilli, Mark Hix and Silvena Rowe were among the top chefs checking out the competition on Thursday 1st November as Danish restaurant phenomenon MASH celebrated the launch of its first overseas location in London. Sophie Ellis-Bextor and husband, The Feeling bassis Richard Jones, took control over DJ decks entertaining the numerous crowd in attendance. Jamelia turned down an invitation to the Mercury Awards to attend the party, she was joined by Javine Hylton, Penny Smith, Sally Farmiloe, Catalina Guirado and Tim Noble among others. Guests feasted on MASH signature fare that included mini steaks, hand cut chips and béarnaise sauce whilst its famous bourbon cocktails definitely hit the spot. Located on Brewer Street in one of London’s most iconic Art Deco dining rooms, this sophisticated and contemporary New York-style steak-house, imbued with a twist of Danish informal eating and drinking, officially opened on 3 November.
