Cartier Queen’s Cup

On Sunday 17th June Cartier greeted guests from the worlds of literature, stage, screen, sport and society into the Cartier enclosure, treating them to a glamorous reception, serving Cartier Cuvée champagne and a lunch created by Mosimann’s. The enclosure was transformed into a quintessentially ‘English Garden’ with exquisite urns full of sumptuous, large green hydrangeas and tables filled with pink, purple and red flowers, in keeping with the summer season. It was one of the closest finals in the 52-year history of this great high-goal polo match played at Guards Polo Club in which Dubai defeated Ayala ensuring that it was Dubai’s team patron Ali Albwardy that stepped forward to receive the Cartier Queen’s Cup from Her Majesty The Queen and Arnaud Bamberger.
